Scotty’s Brewhouse, the Indiana based craft beer sports bar, known for its unique burgers, fried pickle chips and $4 craft beer pints, plans to open their second Illinois location this fall at the Cross County Mall in Mattoon. Layout plans are still being finalized, but the new restaurant will likely be relocated in a newly-redeveloped area of the mall near the east entrance.
"We are excited to announce our plans for a second location in Illinois,” said Chris Martin, Brand President of Scotty’s Brewhouse. “We look forward to being a part of Rural King’s efforts to revitalize the Cross Country Mall.”
Scotty’s will serve lunch and dinner and seat 200 + between its dining room and bar area 7 days a week opening at 11am. The restaurant will have 40 TV’s showing national and local sporting events as well as a full-service bar with 32 draft lines featuring local craft beers.
“We are proud to offer $4 craft beers every day of the week,” said Mark Sontag, Director of Food and Beverage. “We work very hard to carry new and unique beers created by local breweries as well as traditional favorites that guests can enjoy as they watch the games.”
Scotty’s food menu includes innovative crafted burgers, shareable appetizers, and unique entrees. Guest favorites like dill chips, wings and the award-winning Shewman Special Burger featuring peanut butter, bacon and jalapeños are mainstays on their large menu. Lunch items, gluten sensitive dishes and vegetarian options are also available.
Scotty’s offers a substantial Loyalty Rewards program via a smartphone app. Members get $10 off $35 every Tuesday and Sunday, a free entrée on their birthday and anniversary, $5 off after 5 visits and other exclusive promotions throughout the year. The app also features mobile pay, carryout ordering and location information. The free app is available for iPhone and Android devices and can be downloaded by visiting scottysbrewhouse.com/rewards.
“We’re looking forward to bringing many positive experiences to Mattoon, as a neighborhood restaurant, and through initiatives and local partnerships within the community,” continued Martin.
Scotty’s Brewhouse is currently scheduled to open in the fall of 2018 and will bring over 100 new part-time and full-time Jobs to Mattoon, including opportunities for individuals with disabilities, a culture that Scotty’s has been nationally recognized for in previous years.
